The Digital Engineering Factory (DEF) is a browser-based collaborative tool designed to support systems and software engineering students at the University of Arizona. It is built on the UAOS (University of Arizona Ontology Stack) and employs semantic web technologies such as reasoning, model validation, and querying. The presentation will introduce the vision behind DEF, the adopted development approach, and preliminary results and lessons learned.

The seminar will also be a valuable opportunity to establish scientific and professional contacts.

The event is organized by the Wydział Mechaniczny Technologiczny Politechnika Warszawska and the Faculty of Management at the Politechnika Warszawska, as part of the didactics grant under the IDUB Program entitled "Launch of an inter-faculty and interdisciplinary laboratory for management and production engineering", coordinated by Dr. Aleksander Buczacki, CSEP.
