Open position: Engineer for Industry 5.0

For those potentially interested I gladly share this job opportunity at my research group.

As part of the Project of National Significance funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, a job position will be opened to use and develop methodologies and technologies specific to the fifth industrial revolution to protect and improve the working conditions of industrial workers.

Specifically, an innovative technology already implemented that includes several wearable sensors will be used  to assess the human worker's interaction with the environment industrial environment around him and his related physiological parameters.

Artificial intelligence algorithms will be developed to extract value from this collected data and proactively improve the health and well-being of the worker during his or her various work activities, through preventive and predictive approaches.

The tools to be developed will be tested and validated in the Trentino (Italy) plant of a international manufacturing company that is a partner in the project. Collaboration with prestigious universities and participation in international conferences to present the work done is also planned.

The employment contract has a duration of 12 months, the remuneration is 1700 € net per month, and the possibility of hybrid working setting (onsite and home office) is foreseen.
